Feeling isolated? I can help!

I offer convenient Telehealth video therapy to residents of New York State.

This means that you can have therapy in your pajamas in the comfort of your home, or on your lunch break at work! You can be make-up free or talk to me between bites of your lunch. No worries, I’ll meet you where you’re at!

Counseling has helped me in the past, but I’ve never done it online before. Is it the same?

Great question! Yes, it’s pretty much the same but it’s got the potential to be more convenient and cost effective, cutting out the commute time. Depending on where you live, you may also benefit from getting quality therapy at a fraction of the cost due to cost of living differences (ahem, looking at you NYC).

But I’m not tech-savvy, I’m afraid of trying this out.

Phew, I thought it was just me. Don’t worry, it’s as simple as clicking a link (using a HIPAA compliant secure platform). You can do this from your phone or computer and you don’t have to download anything. You don’t even need to create any accounts. You’ll be directed to a virtual waiting room until our session begins. Your sessions are anonymous, data is encrypted, and none of your information is stored.

This is sounding good. How often would I schedule with you?

Your first session will be a 60 minute intake. This gives us time to establish a relationship together, learn some initial stuff about your life, determine some initial goals, and address the oodles of paperwork. Yes, there are oodles of forms that will need to be completed ahead of time. This is because I have a license to protect and uphold, and because you deserve clinical care that is legit.

After that we will work together to determine an appropriate frequency for follow up. I like to start off seeing people weekly to biweekly, and decreasing it from there. However, you are an individual and we will tailor a plan that suits YOU.

What’s the cost?

Priceless. No, just kidding, I know that feels like an obnoxious answer. That said, therapy really is an investment and depending on your situation it might actually feel priceless to have nonjudgmental support from someone who ‘gets it’ in a way that your other supports may not.
